Greetings everybody!

I'm writing to you from the very small mountain town of Sierra City, California where I'm resupplying my gear. I'll head back out on the trail tomorrow. I've traveled just over 100 miles these past 7 days and I can say they've been the best 100 miles of the entire PCT for me. I look forward to bringing some friends back to hike parts of this again. I can't wait to share this with others!

Tomorrow I'll head back into the mountains and head towards the next town of Beldon where I'll resupply again. That should take me about 6 days (90 miles roughly). Sounds like it's slower going in this part of the trail with many blow downs, overgrown trail, and a lot of rattlesnakes. So, stay tuned to see what happens next.....

Here are just a few pictures from the past number of days.

Hope all is well with everyone

Sometimes nature just puts the picture on the wall for you. In my tent a couple nights ago.

I didn't see anyone this entire day. Nor did I see any sign of buildings or roads. I felt like I was the only one on the planet.

It's wonderful to slow down and take the side detours. This one was a half mile hike off PCT to a mountain lake. Ohhhhhh.....the feet loved the cold soak! The little joys in life!

My home. It used to be an RV, but I took the wheels off so I could go more places.

Bridge near Sierra City on PCT

More cool scenery along the way

Donner Lake. Where the Donner party set up camp to try to make it through the winter.

What my husband Paul looks like when I ask him to put more money in the bank account to fuel my hiking addiction. 😁

Just kidding. I'm very lucky to have all his support! By the way, he's setting up a sailing company that will give rides on Gunflint Lake. Coming soon!!
