To the RNs, ER techs, ER physicians, HUCS, registration, and security folks that I’ve had the absolute privilege of working alongside for the past 13 years—

Thank you for the incredible send-off as I head toward the mountains soon!

I’ve taken photos of every handwritten card to carry with me for any rainy-day miles ahead, and I’ll be bringing along the good-luck trinkets too. A little piece of all of you will be walking that trail with me.

Thank you for being such an extraordinary group of humans. We’ve walked through the fire together for many years, and I will always be grateful to have gotten to know each and every one of you!
